Ok - last blog about RED I promise. But, I just wanted to share my passion for red boots.
I mean, if you can't wear a red frock coat or a dress near your face, then why not work the trend on your feet. They are an instant update for all you old midi dresses, will up grade your boring work attire and make your jeans go PING at the weekend. So here are my favourite red boots to buy this season..
The pointy sock boot. Yes - remember we used to have these in black?! well they are back. Zara's have sold out. So you can only get these sock ones from ASOS now. See below for styling them with your cropped flare jeans or they will update your floral summer midi.
Slightly higher here at M&S - with a fabulous heel - great for an evening out.
A more pricey option at KG but everything, buckles, kitten heel, zips, studs. These are the for the 100% fashionista.
For a more laid back look, go for a cowboy style red boot. Worn here with cropped jeans - great for country living or casual style.
These Next western style look very much like a Jigsaw style but a third of the price. Fabulous with your bootcut, skinnies or mid length floral dresses.
Flat TopShop boots are a safe alternative and brilliant if you do a lot of running around in your workplace. I love the stud detail and a great price.
If the ankle boot is not your thing, how about the long red boot. How about a neat, leather red boot? These look fabulous here with classic camel trench.
Sleek Top Shop ones are elegant with a neat heel and look like they have a bit of stretch in them too.
And here are mine. They have just had an uplift at the cobbler. Circa 1999 and vintage back then. I've always loved them but they are going to be worked hard this season.
Clashing my reds with burgundy pleather culottes and red statement sleeve blouse.
Giving my vintage spotty dress an edge with my red boots. I just can't wait to work them wit denim on a rainy day.
